يحاول صديقه عبد المجيد، تتبع الخيوط التي توصله لنعرلة تفاصيل و حيثيات تعرض صديقه لصدمة الجنون، بين ذكريات الجامعة وهواجس القرية، ومشاكل عائلته. كما يحاول طمأنة البطل . أنه سيشفى. في رحلة علاج مريرة عند الطبيب النفساني. لكن القدر لم يمهل البطل حيث تولي في ظروف غامضة. في الوقت الذي كان صديقه يحكي لنا قصته الممتعة.
