في ديوانه الشعري "همس الجوى" يجنح الشاعر محمد موسى حمادة لجعل نصه خفيفاً، قريباً من المتلقي العام، مع الإعتناء بالغاية الجمالية للنص؛ والهدف الإمتاعي للغة. فالنص غالباً ما يأتي مستحضراً من مناطق محفورة في الذاكرة "من نشيج الروح والتياع الفؤاد / ومن هَمْسِ الجوى / أستعيد نشيدَ الوِدادْ / وحين أبحرُ في عينيِّ الخيالْ / يسبقني دَمْعُ المُقلِ / وأسيرُ نحوك / بلا خجل بلا عنادٍ (...)" . هكذا يعزف الشاعر على أوتار الذاكرة تجربةً عاشها، بكل تفاصيلها وتشظياتها، فكتب اليومي والمهمل والمرئي من الأشياء، وقد تجسدت هذه العناصر والصفات في معظم نصوص الديوان " نكتب على ورق التراب / حكايات الأرض / وأحلام الفقراء / ورسمُ / نساء يحملن جرارهن / عائدات من النبع / فلا جفاف الفقراء / يرويه ماء القهر / ولا الأعشاب البرية / توقف جريان النهر / صُبحَ مساءْ".
قدم للديوان الأستاذ محمد نور الدين ومما جاء في التقديم " ... وهو بعد في كل شعره، وفي كل قصائد ديوانه "همس الجوى" رقيق أنيق يتخير ألفاظه ويجهد في صوغها رشيقة رقيقة ولمّاحة وضاحة، يخلع عليها جرساً موسيقياً ناعماً تأتى له من مشاكلة دقيقة أمام أركانها وشاد بنيانها على المزج بين موسيقى الداخل وموسيقى الخارج، فجاءت قصائده همساً ناعماً مملوءاً بالجوى والهوى، تطرب السماع وتبعث في القلوب رعشة الشوق والإلتياع".
يضم الديوان "همس الجوى" سبعة وعشرين قصيدة في الشعر العربي الحديث جاءت تحت العناوين الآتية: "همس الجوى" ، "لا تحزني" ، "أيقونة المدنفين" ، "قصيدة إلى يارا" ، "خماسية الزمن الآتي" ، "بكاء العنادل" ، "كسرت مغزلي" ، "السفن المهاجرة" (...) وقصائد أخرى.
