"تسأل النسمة عطر الياسمين، عن صبايا كن للحب الأمين، ونذرن العمر عفاً للحبيب، وانتظرن رغداً حتى المغيب، الوعود الباقيات والعهود الحاليات، وكما الشتلة تشتاق الندى كن يشتقن إلينا، كن يلمحن رجاءً في العيون، وتمنينا السنون، تأكل العمر وتنأى وتنام يرحل العمر بعيداً كالغمام، وتجاري دورة العمر ندية تنبت العزة في دار الكرام".
ترانيم على أوتار القلب هو الديوان الأول لنتاجي الشعري والنثري ضمنته قصائد ومقطوعات نثرية كتبتها في فترات متفاوتة لمناسبات منوعة.
هذه القصائد نظمتها في أحداث عايشتها، فأملت علي المناسبة أن أعبر عن حالة وجدانية أحسستها، ومنها المراثي التي كتبتها إثر غياب لبعض الأصدقاء والخواطر والآراء والتأملات التي فيها خاطبت الجمادات فاستنطقتها وقلت لها، وقالت لي...
ولئن كنت قد تأخرت كثيراً في إصدار هذا الديوان فإنما لغاية أن يبلغ عمري النضج والحكمة والرشاد على طريقة الكتاب القدماء فذلك أجدى وأنفع.
ولقد اخترت عنواناً لهذا الديوان "ترانيم على أوتار القلب" لأني عزفت قصائدي ومقطوعاتي والمراثي على قيثارة القلب، والقلب يتسع لكل الحالات الوجدانية والوطنية. وقصدت من خلال تنوع المواضيع وعناوينها أن تكون ندية بليلة بندى العشايا الصيفية، وثائرة في بعض الأحيان كبركان ضجت حممه، فأرسلها شظايا ملتهبة فوق الأرض.
إنا المراثي.. فإنما هي انفعالات صادقة عزفتها لحناً حزيناً لفقد أحبة...
