أما و إن كنت كالأغلبية الساحقة التي ورثت إسلاما مشوها، من مجتمع إسلامي لا يطبق تعاليم الإسلام، أو من أسرة متناقضة، تدَّعي أنها مسلمة ولكن لسان حالها لا يدل على ذلك، أقول لك ولنفسي أنه قد حان الوقت لكي نراجع أنفسنا و نُمَحِّصَ معتقداتنا، كي لا نشوه صورة الإسلام بدورنا عن جهل وتقصير منا.
لنجعل العجلة تقف عندنا ولا نورث أبناءنا أيضا ما ورثناه نحن من عادات ومعتقدات لا تمد للإسلام بصلة، بل بعضها مناف لتعليماته
