فمثلا في أبريل عام 2021 رحل "ألبير أريه" أقدم يهودي في مصر، والذي جسد رمزا للتعايش بين الأديان على أرض مصر.. عشق وسط القاهرة ورفض الهجرة لإسرائيل، وكان مثقفا يساريا مرموقا منتميا إلى تيار الحركة الوطنية المصرية، في وقت كان هناك تياران متعارضان من يهود مصر: تيار وطني آثر البقاء والاندماج والتعايش، وآخر فضل الانتماء إلى قوميته، فمنهم من هاجر إلى أوروبا وامريكا وحتى إسرائيل.
