هذه الرواية أول رواية أفغانية تترجم إلى اللغة العربية، وهي بسيطة في أسلوبها مؤثرة في عرضها صادقة في تصوير المشاعر، واقعية في كل أحداثها، أبطالها شاركوا في ساحات الجهاد والهجرة، وهي أول رواية تصور جانب الهجرة من حركة الجهاد في أفغانستان. إنها رواية هجرة النساء والفتيات المؤمنات من بلادهن أفغانستان، بكل ما في هذه الهجرة من قسوة الطريق وظلم المعترضين الروس لهن وفظائع الشيوعيين معهن. وهي رواية صبر الأفغانيات وإيمانهن وتحملهن أملاً في نصرة الله لدينه وشوقاً لإقامة دولة الإسلام في أفغانستان. وهي بعد ذلك رواية تسد فراغأً في الأدب الإسلامي، وتضيف إلى المكتبة العربية وتغنيها بهذا النوع من أدب الجهاد.
