يناقش الكاتب الشهير جمال الدين شرقاوي في هذا الكتاب مسألة نسب المسيح هل هو من ذرية داود أم من ذرية هارون، ويبدأ في المبحث الأول بالحديث عن نسب السيدة مريم، والمبحث الثاني من الدراسة بعنوان: المسيح الربي الهاروني والمسيح الملكي الداودي. وفي الكتاب يتابع المؤلف جمال الدين الشرقاوي الرد على القس فريز ويوضح جهله في استخراج الأصل اللغوي للكلمات، ويناقش قضية المسيح الرابي الذي جاء به القس وجهله بمعنى الرابي، ويناقش ما قيل على أن المسيح الربي هو المسيح بن مريم، وكذلك يتطرق لما قاله القس بخصوص قضية القميص القطواني وانكار القس لبعثة المسيح الربي أو الرباني، وغير ذلك من القضايا التي رد فيها المؤلف على هذا القس. وبعد ذلك يختتم بالمبحث الثالث عن المسيح الملكي بن داود وفيه يرد على ماقاله القس بخصوص هذه القضية.
