إن موضوع هذا الكتاب لا يعد من المعالم الأساسية والضروريات العقدية عندنا كمسلمين، إلا أن إخواننا المسيحيون يعتبرونه من أساسيات دينهم، وإنما هو في اعتقادي تصحيح لرأى وزعم فرضته الكنسية الأولى على أتباعها، ومن ثم فقد حاولت ارجاعه إلى منابعه الأصلية، فلا يضير المسيحي المحافظ أن يكون المسيح من ذرية داود أو من ذرية هارون، لانه يؤمن بالميلاد العذراوي للمسيح من مريم بدون ماء رجل، كما أن المسيحي يؤمن بأن المسيح إله وليس برجل بن رجل، فلن تتأثر عقيدته إن تغير نسب المسيح من داود إلى هارون.
إنه رأى وزعم لا يغير شيئا من معالم وأساسيات الديانة المسيحية، رأى وزعم تورم مع الزمان في أقوال القسيسين والرهبان حتى صار شبه عقيدة يعضون عليها بالنواجذ، فأحببت أن يكون كتابي هذا فيه تفنيد ذلك الزعم القائل بأن المسيح ابن مريم عليه السلام من نسل داود، بمعنى أنه المسيح الملك الداودي السلالة الذي يقيم دولة إسرائيل ثانية كسابق مجدها وعهدها أيام داود وسليمان عليهما السلامز وليس هو بـ المسيح الربي والرباني الهاروني السلالة الذي يمهد الطريق إلى الله ويأخذهم بالتوبة والصلاح وإقامة التوراة والإنجيل.
