يقدم الكرشابي نفسه في هذا الديوان بوصفه عاديا ووحيدا وعبقريا وإنسانا أيضا عبر مائة وجه لظاهر واحد، ومقدرة عالية على ممارسة التأمل المنتج الخلاق، فجاء مدهشا، وصادما ومفارقا لكثير من المفاهيم القارة أيضا، وتلك في ذاتها أهم ما ميز خطابه الشعري.
يخاطب الكرشابي في ديوانه مطلق حواس المتلقي، وينتقي لغته بسهولة خادعة، لذا لا يمنحك نصه إلا بعد انصات مسؤول حال التلقي، أما اخيلته فتجنح إلى التركيب والامتداد رغم قصر النصوص، وفي الوقت نفسه لا يمكن القول إن نصوص الكرشابي عصية أو غامضة، تلك هي المعادلة الصعبة التي نجح الشاعر في تقديمها.
