نجيب نصر، كاتب وناقد وأكاديمي يمني، ولد في مدينة تعز في 04 يونيو 1984، يقيم في مدينة غرناطة بإسبانيا. نجيب حائزٌ على الدكتوراه في اللغة العربية، في تخصّص النحو واللسانيات من جامعة سيدي محمد بن عبد الله في مدينة فاس بالمغرب (تموز/يوليو 2018) وقبلها كان قد أنجز الماجستير في التخصص نفسه والجامعة نفسها عام 2012.

"رواية تسجل التقلبات التاريخية التي شهدتها قرية السّاقية، إحدى القُرى اليمنية"
يعود عبد الرحيم الغازي إلى قريته بعد تغرب سنوات طويلة.. يجد القرية تغيرت، لكن عقلية الناس لم تتغير، يعيشون الحياة باستخفاف كبير بين مجالس القات المليئة بالحكايات السطحية..
في ظل تلك الحياة الرتيبة تشيع بينهم حكاية ظهور المرأة الغامضة التي سمعوا حكايتها في الماضي بأنها تسببت في مقتل الشيخ عبد المعين في مطلع الثمانينيات، يستغلها كبار القرية فيروجون لها، ويشيعون بأنها حقيقية، ويتلقفها الناس بالتحليل وسرد الحكايات حولها..
في الليلة التي أقيمت فيها المبارأة النهاية لكأس العالم، يشاهد عبد الرحيم شخصا في المقبرة، ويشيع الأهالي أن ذلك الشخص هو الـ(نصف إنسان) الذي أرعب القرية في الماضي.
تقع أحداث في القرية، من بينها تعليق جثة غريبة فوق الطولقة العملاقة، ليبدأ الرعب يعصف بالقرية ويشتت أهلها من ديارهم، ويظل عبد الرحيم يراقب الأحداث ويسجلها في دفتره ويربط بينها وبين الحوادث التي عصفت بالقرية في الماضي وشردت أهلها عن الديار".
