الكَذِبُ رَذِيلَة، وإنْ كَانَ بِاسْمِ الفَضِيلَة؛ فالغَايَةُ لَا تُبَرِّرُ الوَسِيلَة.
ولكن، مَاذَا لوْ فَصَلَ بَيْنَكَ وَبَيْنَ هَدَفِكَ كَذْبَةٌ صَغِيرَة؟
هَلْ تَصْعَدُ سُلَّمَ الكَذِبِ الَّذِي يَهْوِي بِكَ لِلْهَاوِيَة، أَمْ تَتَمَسَّكُ بِالصِّدْق؟
وبَيْنَمَا أَنْتَ فِي حَيْرَةٍ مِنْ أَمْرِكَ، تَكْتَشِفُ أَنَّكَ جُزْءٌ مِنْ كَذْبَةٍ أُخْرَى لِشَخْصٍ آخَر، وَأَنْتَ لَا تَدْرِي، وَهُوَ لَا يَدْرِي أَنَّهُ يَكْذِبُ عَلَيْكَ. وبَيْنَكُمَا بَرِيئَةٌ مُرْتَبِكَة، لِأَنَّهَا انْزَلَقَتْ دُونَ اخْتِيَارٍ فِي دَائِرَةِ الكَذْبَة.
وبَيْنَمَا الثَّلَاثَةُ فِي حَيْرَتِهِم، مِثْلُكَ تَمَامًا الآن، إذْ بِعِصَابَةٍ تَتَرَصَّدُ أَحَدَهُمْ لِقَتْلِهِ، فَيَبْتَعِدُ وَيَظُنُّ أَنَّهُ ابْتَعَدَ عَمَّنْ يُحِبُّ لِيَقْتَرِبَ مِمَّنْ يَعْشَقُ. يُبْحَثُ عَنْهُ، وَلَا يُعْرَفُ لَهُ مَكَان.
هَذِهِ قِصَّةُ أَبْطَالِنَا الثَّلَاثَةِ، التِي سَتَقْرَؤُهَا بِشَوْقٍ، لِتَكْتَشِفَ أَلْغَازَهَا، حَلْقَةً بَعْدَ أُخْرَى...
