ويبدو لي أن جيلنا من الكتاب قد منحه الله من الأحداث الضخام ما هيأ له زاداً من مصادر الإلهام والإنفعال.. فلم تكد تنتهي أحداث الثورة حتى بدأت أحداث التأميم والعدوان والانتصار في بورسعيد. ومرة أخرى أحسست بمسئوليتي إزاء الأحداث الكبار التي جعلتنا في التاريخ شيئاً مذكوراً.. والتي جعلت من الأيام التي نعيش فيها أياماً لها على الزمن قيمة.. وكتبت هذه القصة التي جرت حوادثها في الفترة التي تلت الثورة، والتي امتلأت بالحوادث الضخمة التي انتهت ببورسعيد.. مستعيناً على كتابتها بملهمة.. كان لها الفضل الأكبر في كتابة هذه القصة.
تلك الملهمة هي "نادية" التي لقيتها في قمم الألب العليا.. والتي لولاها ما عرفت الكثير من تلك المعالم الإنسانية والطبيعية التي سجلتها في هذه القصة.. والتي كانت بالنسبة لي الدعائم الكبرى التي حملت هذه الأحداث التاريخية التي حاولت تسجيلها. وبعد. أرجو أن أكون قد حققت بها بعض ما يعوض على جهدي في كتابتها، وما يعوض جهد القارئ في قراءتها.. وما يعوض الملهمة.. عن عرض بعض حياتها.
