كاتب و مهندس مصري من مواليد محافظة الغربية حاصل على درجة الماجستير في هندسة الري، صدر له أربع روايات هي "كل ما أعرف، أنثى موازية، ميكانو، الانتظار"، نشر في مجموعات قصصية مجمعة منها "غموض في مصر القديمة، يتذكرها دائما"، كما كتب قصصا للأطفال في مجلتي علاء الدين وقطر الندى وترجم قصة الأطفال "حكاية الأرنب بيتر" عن الإنجليزية، له مقالات في "القافلة، منشور، الحكاية، الكتابة"، حاصل على جوائز ثقافية منها "جائزة ساويرس الثقافية، جائزة وزارة الشباب والرياضة، جائزة إحسان عبد القدوس، جائزة اي ريد للقصة التاريخية، جائزة المواهب الأدبية بالمجلس الأعلى للثقافة "دورة خيري شلبي"، تكريم مركز عدن للدراسات بالتعاون مع المؤسسة الألمانية للتعاون الدولي، جائزة أفضل قصة قصيرة على مستوى جامعات مصر، جائزة أفضل قصة قصيرة على مستوى جامعة حلوان لأربع سنوات، جائزة الصالون الثقافي العربي للرواية، جوائز القصة والمقال والفيلم القصير بمسابقة مراكز الشباب، درس كتابة السيناريو على يد د.مدحت العدل ومحمد حفظي، شارك في كتابة وإنتاج الفيلم القصير "روح أليفة" الذي حصل على أكثر من خمس عشرة جائزة في مهرجانات سينمائية دولية

تدور رواية ميكانو في مصر قبل 2011 عندما يموت عادل لنرى أثر وفاته على صديقه المقرب أحمد الذي لم يحدد أبدا ما يرغب به بشكل حقيقي، فأحيانا يرغب في الهجرة، وأحيانا يرغب في تحقيق نفسه، وأخرى يرغب في مساعدة الآخرين، وأخرى يحب أن يكون تابعا للغير، ووسط كل ذلك لا يجد هويته الحقيقة ووفاة صديقه عادل تزيد من وضعه السيء
حصلت الرواية على جائزة إحسان عبد القدوس وتمت ترجمتها إلى اللغة الانجليزية
