« طارق عيد » كاتب و مهندس ديكور مصري من مواليد القاهرة 1980، تعلم في مدرسة «ليسيه الحرية» و حصل على بكالوريوس هندسة الديكور من كلية الفنون الجميلة جامعة حلوان، قبل ان يحصل على دبلومة دراسات عليا في العلوم الهندسية البيئية – جامعة عين شمس، و يستكمل الدراسات كباحث الماجستير في تخصص العمارة الخضراء، و يعمل بمجال السلامة والصحة المهنية والبيئة.
صدر له (حتى نهاية 2018) رواية «مورانو» و هي رواية ذات نمط سردي متفرد تكشف التحولات العميقة داخل المجتمع العربي و المصري بصفة خاصة و كذا الاضطراب الاجتماعى والاقتصادى والنفسي عقب ثورات الربيع العربي، وقد نُشر للكاتب بعض القصص و المقالات بجريدة «الأهرام» المصرية ، وهو يعتمد بشكل كبير على النشر الإلكتروني لما يكتبه من قصص قصيرة أو مقالات دورية، و في العام 2014 نجح الكاتب في جذب القُراء من خلال نشر بعض القصص القصيرة والمقالات على وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي وعلى موقعه الإلكتروني www.TarekEid.Com والذي حاز على نسب دخول وقراءات مرتفعة جدا.
بدأ الكاتب في نشر كتاباته إبان فترة دراسته بالجامعة و شارك كعضو بلجنة التحرير في مجلة «كلمتنا» الشبابية منذ بداية تأسيسها عام 1999 فكتب و نشر من خلالها العديد من المقالات والقصص القصيرة والأشعار حتى العام 2003 وكان أشهر تلك الكتابات سلسلة ساخرة بعنوان "رسالة من عيوش 2000"، كما كان له أنشطة ثقافية أخرى في ذلك الحين أبرزها فكرة تدشين مجلة مطبوعة بإسم «الفنون الجميلة»، وكذلك الكتابة والإعداد المسرحي لبعض عروض فريق «أتيليه مسرح الفنون الجميلة».
