وقد مال بعض المفسرين إلى عدم الخوض في تحقيق تلك الشخصيات والأزمنة والأحداث المتعلقة بتلك القصص، وإرجاع علمها إلى الله سبحانه وتعالى، ، إلا أن انتشار الكثير من الأساطير حولها، وانعكاساتها الطقوسية أحياناً لدى بعض المسلمين، والتي ترتقى بمرور الزمان لتكون في مصاف الحقائق والمعارف الدينية لدى عامة الناس ، بل وحتى عند الخاصة أحياناً ، علاوة على الشوق المعرفي الذي يتملك الإنسان وهو يتفكر في القصص القرآني، وتقييم الأحاديث الكثيرة المبثوثة حول تفاصيل تلك القصص،
