"موصل الطلاب إلى قواعد الإعراب" كتاب وضعه الشيخ خالد الأزهري على كتاب "قواعد الإعراب" لابن هشام وضمنه شرحاً وافياً لهذا الكتاب الأخير معتمداً في استقصاء الشرح على كثير من آراء علماء النحو واللغة التي وردت في مؤلفاتهم وتصانيفهم، مثل الخليل، وسيبويه، والأخفش، والكسائي، وثعلب، والمبرد، وابن جني وغيرهم.
وما دفع الدكتور "عبد الكرم مجاهد" إلى تحقيق هذا الكتاب هو ما وجده فيه من وضوح وتحديد وتفصيل وتوصيل القاعدة من أقرب سبيل، بعبارة سهلة قصيرة خالية الأطناب والتطويل بحيث يقدن الخلاصة الصافية للمادة التي يتناولها بالشرح في أسلوب تعليمي ينتقل فيه من الكلمات إلى الجزئيات ومن الأصول إلى الفروع، وما يميز هذا المصنف أيضاً أن أغلب شواهده من آيات القرآن الكريم معتمداً في أدلته على القراءات القرآنية، حيث يقلب الرأي فيها على جميع وجوهه مبيناً أسرار استعمالها مستعيناً بكتب التفسير المعروفة مثل جامع البيان للطبري والتفسير الكبير للرازي والكشاف للزمخشري، وإذا أتى بشاهد شعري فإنما ليقوي معنى أو يرجح رأياً أو يسوق برهاناً على ما استنبطه من قاعدة أو حكم نحوي، من غير استطراد ممل أو أسلوب معقد.
وفي عرضه للقراءات كان يسندها لرواتها، وكذلك الأشعار يسندها لأصحابها وكثيراً ما كان يتعرض للشواهد بالأعراب والشرح اللغوي خاصة موضح الشاهد، وهو غير متعصب لرأي بصري أو كوفي أو نحوي معين دون النجاة وإذا رجح رأياً يسوق على ذلك الأدلة. وبالعودة إلى نطاق عمل المحقق نجد أنه قام بالاعتناء أولاً بتخريج الشواهد القرآنية، وبتعيين السورة ورقم الآية فيها، وبضبط الآيات وتتميمها في الهامش، كما واعتنى بتوثيق الأحاديث النبوية المشهورة، وبتخريج الشواهد الشعرية وذلك بنسبة كل شاهد شعري إلى قائله: أما في نطاق التعليق فاعتنى بتوضيح ما اعتقد أنه غامض أو مبهم على القارئ، فاهتم بتوضيح المقصود من بعض المصطلحات كالتضمين والنشر والاستئناف النحوي، كما اهتم بالتعريف بالأعلام الواردة في النص مع توثيق هذا التعريف غالباً.
