حينما التقيتُ بالمحلمة كجنسٍ أدبي أخذ مني لُبابي، وقررتُ خوض الكتابة فيه بعدما أفل نجمه منذ زمن طويل، عِلمًا أنه في الملحمة يعلو صوت الإنسان، إذ يحاول بناء عالم جديد، إلا أنه في النهاية يخضع لما حكمته الآلهة وينصاع لمصيره المحدد.. وهذا هو موضوع "ملحمة الغرام"، فيحاول البطل العاشق الوقوف في وجه جميع الآلهة، محطِمًا بذلك قيود القدر التي قد تمنعه من الفوز بحبيبته..
