أعوذ بالله من يوم لا أقول فيه : أنا وأنا .. وأنا قرأت وأنا فكرت أنا تأملت .. أنا صليت أنا شكرت الله على ما أعطانى أنا استغفرت أنا أذنبت أنا كذبت .. فكيف لا أقول: أنا .. والأدب والفن كله ليس إلا كلمة أنا .. أنا رأيت أنا انفعلت أنا غضبت أنا سعدت .. ولكن أحب الذى يقول: أنا مختلف لست نسخة أخرى لأحد .. أو ظلاً لأحد .. أو فى عباءة أحد .. أنا كما أنا .. وأذكر أن الرئيس مبارك فى أول زيارة له فى لندن وفى مؤتمر صحفى سألوه: ما الفرق بينك وبين عبدالناصر والسادات؟ فقال: إن اسمى حسنى مبارك! برافوا يا ريس.. وعندما سأل الرئيس الكندى طفلاً صغيرًا ماذا تريد أن تكون فى المستقبل فقال: أكون رئيسًا لأمريكا! ولما ذهب الرئيس كيندى إلى روسيا ورأى طفلاً صغيرًا اقترب منه وسأله: ماذا تريد أن تكون عندما تكبر؟ قل إنك تريد أن تكون رئيسًا لروسيا . ولكن الطفل قال: بل مهندس صواريخ موجهة إلى أمريكا. وكان الطفل بعد ذلك وزيرًا للصناعات الحربية ! ولما سألوا الكاتب الساخر الكبير أوسكار وايلد: من أنت؟ فقال: أنا لست أمريكيًا ولا أحب .. وسئل: وماذا معك من الممنوعات؟ قال: عبقريتى!
