"ما من مقدرةٍ يمكنها الإحاطة بالدفقِ الثَّر الذي تنجبهُ الحياة صوراً فريدة، وهنا في سطورِ هذه المجموعة بعضاً من دلاءِ العِطر أسكبها، علَّها تضيءُ بعضاً من جوانبِ الروحِ، فتلهمنا السيرَ قدماً في دروبِ التنويرِ، الذي نحلمُ أن يكون."
هكذا يقدم برهان سيفو لمجموعته الشعرية "مرقد الآلهة" المكونة من 68 صفحة تتطرق الى كافة صنوف الشعر العمودي، والحر، وقصيدة النثر، خلال ثلاثة عشر قصيدة نقتطع منها كمثال:
مفارقُ الطُّرقِ جميعُها
باتَتْ تُفضِي إِلى حيثُ هبوبِ الرِّياح،
الشَّمس تتوهَّجُ أكثر
وتَتَدفَّقُ السَّنابِلُ بيادرَ عطاء،
وكُوىً أَغلقَهَا الحمقى،
تُعلنُ ولادةَ الضِّياء،
والكُونُ مُبتهج،
فأَرضُنَا تُحقِّقُ المُستَحيل.
