لا أدري كيف و لا من أين سأبدأ في سرد أحداث حكايتي ، و مرد عدم درايتي هذه ، عائدٌ إلى اعتقادي أنّ أحدًا من البشر يمكنُ له أن يصمد أمام هولِ ما يكتنف غياهبَ ماضي حياتي من ندباتٍ و تشوهات كان من أثرها أن جعلتني دومًا غير واثقة بكنه هذا الوجود و يقيني منه و ماهيتي فيه ، فاختلط الوهم عندي بالواقع و ما عدت أميز المنطق السليم من مغالطاته ، فاشتبهت علي الحقائق ، وغشيت بصيرتي الأوهام ، حتى فقدت نصيبًا كبيرًا من قدرتي في التعقل و الحياة بشكل اعتيادي كما يحياها الآخرون بوداعة و سلام.
وها أنا اليوم وحدي ، أرتعد خوفا من كل ما يحيط بي ، و ارمق الوجوه باكتراثٍ حذر ، مرتابةٌ بكل عينٍ تتجه صوبي ، فلربما اقتادني القواصة و العسس إلى سجن القلعة أو البيمارستان بتهمة القتل ، أو الجنون و الشعوذة ان كُشِف لهم سري ، لذا لم أجد عزاء أجدى لي من هذه الوريقات النقية لأشي لها بالحقيقة المكلومة التي تكظم أنفاسي ، وتجثو على قلبي الضعيف كما يجثو الركب الثقيل فوق سنام الناقة الهزيلة ..
فعقدت عزمي أن أجمع شتات حقيقتي ، و أجرء أخيرا على اقتراف الجريمة الثانية بعد جريمتي الأولى ، فاعذري و اصفحي أيتها الأوراق ، استباحة طهرك ، و لتغفري لقلمي تخضيب عذريتك بدنس الطلاسم المتوحشة التي ما فتئت تنهش روحي ليل نهار ، حتى تصفو الدماء في عروقي ، و أتنفس !!
