عائلةٌ فلسطينيةٌ فقيرةٌ، يعيشون حياةً طبيعيةً، يسقون بذورَ أحلامهم، لا يعلمون أنّ المياه الّتي يسقون بها أحلامهم سامّة غير صالحةٍ للسّقاية، ولا يعلمون أنّ أحلامهم مهما كَبُرت لن تتحقق في بلادٍ عقيمةٍ مستعمرةٍ، تلك السّموم نضجت وتخلّلت؛ فأصبح أهل المدينة يموتون إثرها، دون وداع، في لحظةٍ ما، في مكانٍ ما، ترى البيوت والأحلام تسقط إرْباً إرْباً؛ ترى ابنك أو أي شخص تحبه في نعشٍ على كاهلٍ يشيعون باسمه، ولكنّ أهل المدينة لم يستسلموا في ظلّ تلك الظروف، وظلّوا ينشرون مبيداتهم ضد سموم الحشرات القابعة بينهم، ولا تخلو الأحداث من قصة حب بريئة؛ ولكن هل ستنجح تلك العائلة الحالمة بالبقاء أم سيكون مصيرها الفناء؟
