في تلك الأجزاء من الثانية التي يتقرر فيها مصير الأرواح، انشقّ الليل عن صرير مكابحٍ مزق طبلة الأذن ، وتطاير شرار الاحتكاك من تحت عجلات الشاحنة الضخمة التي انحرفت بجنون لتتفادى ذلك الجسد الصغير الواقف في منتصف الطريق خوفاً من ان تصدمها .
"أحمد" الذي كان يصارع قبضات الشرطة ليقف ، سكنت أنفاسه تماماً .. تجمد العالم في عينيه وهو يرى طفلته تترنح من قوة تيار الهواء الناجم عن مرور الشاحنة بمحاذاتها، وسقوطها العنيف على الإسفلت البارد .
كان هذا المشهد هو اخر لحظة شاهد فيها ابنته ورود قبل ان تلقي عليه الشرطة القبض ..
