وقد تكلم في هذا الموضوع المتكلمون الفصحاء، وألف المؤلفون العلماء -فجزاهم الله خير الجزاء- ، ولكن إن تكلم المتكلم حصر وأوجز، أو سها عن بعض المهمات، وإن ألف المؤلف توسع وتعمّق واستغرق دقائق من الفروع والخلافات، وهذا طيب في غير هذا الزمان ولغير العوامّ، فنحن في زمن ضعُفت فيه الهِمم وقصُر الفهم، فاختِصار المتكلم قصَّر، وتوسُع المؤلف كسّل. فوجب الاختصار للمُلِمّ والاقتصار على المهم، عسى أن تأخذ من ذهن المسلم حصة، ومن نفسه همة، ليقرأ ما ينفعه، ويعرف ما يصلحه، فكتبت هذه الصفحات بعبارة سهلة وجيزة، وأزعم أنها لا تحتاج إلى شرح شارح لأنها سهلة سائغة، فقد ابتعدتُ قدر الإمكان عن غريب الألفاظ، وعسير التراكيب، وكذلك تركت كثيرا من الألفاظ العلمية التي لا يفهمها إلا طُلاب العلم، وأسميته (مبادئ طارئة؛ مهمّاتٌ في التوحيد والعقيدة والعبادة) وكل التوحيد عقيدة وكل العقيدة عبادة
