كان لقيامي بتدريس مادة القانون التجاري، لطلبة كلية القانون في جامعة دلمون للعلوم والتكنولوجيا في البحرين، الأثر المباشر في القيام بتأليف هذا الكتاب (مبادئ القانون التجاري الأردني والقانون التجاري البحريني والكويتي)، حيث قمت بتدريس هذه المادة على شكل محاضرات مكتوبة بخط اليد، نظراً لعدم وجود مرجع مختص في شرح القانون التجاري البحريني أو الكويتي، وكان الاعتماد على المراجع الأردنية آنذاك. وبسبب إيماني المباشر في شرح كتاب القانون التجاري الأردني، وجدت نفسي ملزماً بأن أشرح إلى جانبه القانون التجاري الكويتي وكذلك البحريني، ليكون مرجعاً لتخصص القانون في جامعة دلمون من طلبة البحرين أو الكويت، وقد كانت مرحلة مهمة في حياتي أثناء تدريسهم، حيث كانت الجامعة تسعى بكل جهودها لتواكب التطورات الأكاديمية على المستوى العالمي والإقليمي، وقد حاولت جاهداً بأن يكون هذا الأسلوب في شرح القوانين الثلاثة مبسطاً وسهلاً يستطيع الطالب فهم مفرداته ومحتوياته بكل سهولة ويسر، وكان التركيز على ذكر النصوص القانونية الواردة في قانون التجارة الأردني رقم (12) لسنة 1966، وقانون التجارة البحريني رقم (7) لسنة 1987، وقانون التجارة الكويتي رقم (68) لسنة 1980. وحيث لا زلت في تدريس مادة القانون التجاري في جامعة جدارا لطلبة كلية القانون وبعض الكليات الأخرى التي تقرر هذا المساق على طلابها ضمن الخطة الدراسية، فقد ازداد لدي الإيمان الراسخ بإخراج هذا الكتاب بهذا الشكل الذي بين أيديكم ليكون في متناول طلبتنا الأعزاء، محاولاً بكل جهد الوقوف على النص القانوني متناولاً شرحه مقارنة بين القوانين الثلاثة الأردني والبحريني والكويتي، ليكون مرجعاً للدارسين في حقول القانون المختلفة.
