رواية تتحدث عن واحد وعشرون يوم بعد الانفصال يحكي فيها الطرف المتخلى عنه عن ألمه وحزنه بعدما تخلى عنه أحدهم في المنتصف، بعدما كان يعتقد أن ليس للانفصال وجود إلا أن وجد نفسه به، كانت تحسب الأيام واحدا تلو الأخر لكي تتعايش مع ألام الفقد والإنكسار وتقبل عدم وجوده، وبعد العديد من الأيام اكتشفت أن الظلمة حقا ليست موجودة بحد ذاتها فما هي إلا غياب النور وهكذا كان الٱنفصال بالنسبة لها بعدما تأكدت أن الحياة ليست بظلمة إن غاب عنها أحدهم أو حتى ظل بجانبها، بالنور يكتسي الأرجاء والفؤاد بالأشخاص او بدونهم.
