صار إختفاء سالمشاه لغزاً حيرّ الجميع، أطلقت حملة للبحث عنه دون جدوى، ثم سرت إشاعة حين عثر على حصانه بأنه ربما يكون قد مات في البرية وأكلته الوحوش، وقد ربط اختفاؤه بإختفاء الشيخ الذي كان يقصده بإستمرار، وحين وصلت هذه الإشاعة إلى مسامع السجين الهارب الذي كان يعيش عند الشيخ المتصوف زادبهان، قرر الذهاب إلى الأمير نوازشاه وإخباره بكل شيء.
عفا الأمير نوازشاه عنه حين سمع، وكان أن نقل جثمان الشيخ بهبهان ودفنه بجانب قبر والده سالمشاه، وأقام فوق القبرين قبة فخمة، وبجانبها داراً للعبادة وخاناً، وأبنية خدمية اخرى، ساهم سكان الإمارة في تبرعات لبنائها، وسُلم السجين الهارب مهمة الإشراف على الضريح الذي أصبح مزاراً يقصده الناس ويسمعون من المشرف عليه إلى قصص الثلاثة: الشيخ بهبهان، سالمشاه السجين الهارب.
حدث ذلك في زمن ما، في إمارة ميسورام، في أواخر عهد الأسرة القلقشية، ولو لم يحدث ذلك لما كتبت هذه الرواية، ولما وصلت إليك أنت، ولما قرأتها، ويقال بأن الضريح ما زال يزار حتى اليوم، لكن لا يوجد من يسرد قصص الثلاثة، بل استعيض عن ذلك برواية تباع بجانب الضريح كتذكار، وهي ما فرغت أنت من قراءته الآن.
