"من عذاب اللحظة من صخرة الروح، أتيت أنا أيضاً، مع الريح، من صقيع المرتفعات على جنح الندى، متدحرجاً بين طحالب الهواء من دون أحجام، منحدراً مثل أغصان القنّب، على كلمات الريح: نتوء غايات طافحة بالنعاس". لكل لغة في العالم نمط من التفكير ورؤية للأشياء والحياة تختلف عن سواها، وكذلك الشعر، فعندما يقرأ بلغة ما يرسل أمواجاً تناسب موسيقى تلك اللغة وتناغمها اللفظي. هكذا نجد شعر "إيمانويل ميناردو" سواء كان بالإيطالية أو في ترجمته العربية، ينساب مع ألحان رقيقة، وتداعيات خيالية، ثبت نعومة وتضادات تذكرنا بنمط شعر الهايكو في طريقة "الزن" Zen اليابانية، فاختزاله للعواطف في كلمات مقتضية، والأسطر المختصرة، والفقرات القصيرة، مع انتقاء الألفاظ المفعمة بالمعاني الفنية، والمثقلة بالأحاسيس الجياشة حيناً والهادئة أحياناً، يحمل القارئ على تقصي هذه الأبيات، ومحاولة الغوص في أعماقها، للوصول إلى حلّ اللغز الذي تحمله في طياتها إن مجموعة "لمسات الظل" تفتح نافذة جديدة للقارئ العربي على الأدب الإيطالي الحديث ومن خلال ميناردو نتعرف على نمط معاصر من الانعكاسات والرؤى الأدبية فتتوضح رؤانا "للآخر" وفهمنا لإنتاجه الفكري وإبداعه الأدبي.
