إن تعريف غير المسلمين بالمرتكزات التي يقوم عليها الإيمان بالله هو غاية في الأهمية كون هذا الإيمان تتمحور حوله كل بقية مبادئ الإسلام الأخرى ابتداء من توحيد الله وانتهاء بإماطة الأذى عن الطريق ومتى ما سلك الإنسان طريق الإسلام تحقق له التوازن لكل متطلبات النفس البشرية، فتنضبط كل نوازعه وغرائزه بحيث لا يمكن أن تصطدم بحق خالقها أولاً ثم بحق الآخرين طالما ظل منصاعاً لتعاليمه، فيحتكم إلى مقاصد شريعته الغراء التي تتضمن مبادئ وقيماً مدارها الحفاظ على الكليات الخمس وهي الدين والنفس والعقل والعرض والمال، وبذلك سيتحرك هيكل الإنسان في الحياة منسجماً في تناغم مع حركة الكون؛ لأنه يستمد تصوره للحياة من وحي خالق هذا الكون المشرع للدين الإسلامي لينظم حركة حياة البشر، وفي هذه الحالة يستحيل أن تضطرب حركة الحياة، بل إن المسلم بكل ثقة سيضمن لنفسه السعادة، لأن برنامجه في الحياة وفق علم من خلق بيد أن المشكلة لدى البعض أنهم لايريدون أن يرتقوا ببشريتهم، فيستخدمون عقولهم، ويفتحون قلوبهم فيبحثون عن لماذا خلقت؟ ومن أين جئت ؟ ومن الذي جاء بك ؟ وإلى أين تصير ؟ وما هو الإعداد لهذه الرحلة؟ وبغياب هذه الحقائق حتماً ستكون النتيجة . هي اضطراب الحياة ، لأن الحياة عندما تكون غائبة عنها هذه الأسئلة الوجودية فمن الطبيعي أنها ستخرج عن فطرة حركة الكون مما سيؤدي إلى تفشي هذه الأوبئة، والواقع يؤكد هذه الحقيقة، ولا سبيل البتة لحل تلك المشاكل المزمنة إلا بمعرفة ثلاثة عناصر وهي الإنسان والحياة والإسلام.
وهذا الكتاب مساهمة متواضعة لمن يريد الاسترشاد لما يجب فعله، وذلك ليستأنف بقية مشوار الحياة.
قال تعالى﴿ فَمَن يُرِدِ اللَّهُ أَن يَهدِيَهُ يَشرَح صَدرَهُ لِلإِسلامِ وَمَن يُرِد أَن يُضِلَّهُ يَجعَل صَدرَهُ ضَيِّقًا حَرَجًا كَأَنَّما يَصَّعَّدُ فِي السَّماءِ كَذلِكَ يَجعَلُ اللَّهُ الرِّجسَ عَلَى الَّذينَ لا يُؤمِنونَ ﴾
