عندما تسأل اي احد عن شيخ الاسلام ابن تيمية لم هو شيخ الاسلام علما ان هذا اللقب سبقه فيه ابو عبد الله الانصاري والهروي واحمد بن حنبل وكل طائفة ترى شيخها عالما تسميه شيخ الاسلام
سيكون الجواب انه ما ترك بابا من ابواب الشريعة الا له فيه مؤلفات واجوبة وهو مع ذلك عابد مجاهد تقي نقي ورع
واني لست هنا اعدد كتبه ومؤلفاته ولكني اود لفت نظر الناس عامتهم وطلاب العلم وعلمائهم الى صعوبة وجود عالم في كل شيء
اولا لان الحياة مشاغل
وثانيا لان التفرغ لطلب العلم ليس متيسرا لكل انسان
وثالثا ان التخصص يقوّي العلوم فالانسان المتخصص في مجال اقوى فيه ممن هو متفرغ لمجالات كثيرة
الرابع ان الله يخلق اناسا يمتازون بقوة الحفظ والفهم وهؤلاء نوادر في التاريخ
الخامس ان الفقه الاسلامي والعقيدة والقرآن والحديث والسيرة النبوية كلها ليست عبارة عن كتاب فيسهل حفظه او تلخيص محفوظ بل كل واحد في هذه الفروع له فروع فتخيّل ان تطلب من شيخ ان يفتيك في تفسير آية وشرح حديث وفتوى فقهيه وحادثة نبوية في السيرة وتأصيل قواعد وغيرها، فمن من علماء اليوم ممكن ان نقول عنه شيخ الاسلام؟
والمؤلف هذا سرد لبعض فروع العلم في الشريعة الإسلامية لا الحصر
