حكاية عائلة يوسف بين زمنين: زمنٍ كان فيه العيش خفيفاً كنسمة قبل الثورة السورية؛ حيث كانت الهموم تُحتمل وتُطوى مع النوم، وزمنٍ بعد اندلاعها حين انقلبت المعايش رأساً على عقب، فثقلت الأيام على صدورهم كما يثقل الجبل على ضلع، وتلاشت الأسرة واحداً تلو الآخر تحت سطوة الحرب والغياب والتهجير والاعتقال؛ حتى غدت حكايتهم مرآة لبلدٍ تغيّر وجهه، ولحياةٍ انطفأت كما تنطفئ شمعة في مهبّ ريح دامية.
