تبدأ القصة بهمسة من الماضي، "خرافات القصر التي روتها لك أمك جعلتني قلقاً عليك".
ثم همسة من الحاضر، "من الواضح أن منتصف الليل بات عقدة تراودني في كل لحظة تمضي".
ثم همسة من قلب المجهول، "صديقكم لم يخطئ، شخص منكم هو المتسبب فيما يحدث لكم".
ثم في منتصف الليل، تشابكت الأحداث بشكل مرعب، وانقلب الأمر على المدبر كما ينقلب السحر على الساحر، وانطلق الجميع في رحلة إجبارية نحو عالم غريب، عالم بهوية مجهولة، فيه حياة مختلفة، تُدفن فيها الحقيقة، وتصرخ الآذان من همسات الوهم.
في مكان غير المكان، وزمان غير الزمان، تظهر تساؤلات لا يعرف الواقع إجابة لها، فيأتي الوهم مسرعاً ويطوف حول عقول الجميع.
الآن، هل سيعلق ابطال تلك المغامرة المريبة في طوفان الأفكار الملوثة؟ أم أن ما يُرسم في عمق أعينهم، سيغير مجرى القدر؟
