الذي يزرعه في القلوب؛ فالله محبّة
لكن في عائلتي لم يكن الحب يومًا إرثًا.الإرث كان لعنة
لعنة وُلدت قبلنا بقرون، وتناقلتها أجيالنا كما تتناقل العائلات
أسماءها، حتى وصلت إليّ أنا.
أنا الوريث الشرعي لشيء لم أطلبه، ولم أفهمه، ولم أستطع الهرب منه.
إرثي ليس مالًا، ولا أرضًا، ولا اسمًا عريقًا إنه شيء آخر
شيء ستعرفونه لاحقًا.
لعنة بدأت منذ طفولتي، وظلّت تركض ورائي
حتى صرتُ أنا نفسي شبح طفولتي.
فبعض الذكريات لا تكبر معنا بل تبقى مختبئة في العتمة
تنتظر اللحظة المناسبة لتعود وتلتهم صاحبها من جديد.
