انا كائن تتنازعه الأفكار كما تتنازع الأرواح في ليلٍ طويل. أقرأ لأن العقل لا يهدأ، وأكتب لأن القلب لا يصمت. في كل كتاب أفتحه، أبحث عني؛ وفي كل سطر أكتبه، أخلّص نفسي من شيءٍ لا اسم له. لست باحثًا عن الحقيقة، بل غارقًا في السؤال، مدفوعًا بقلقٍ وجودي لا يهدأ، وكأن الكلمة خلاص مؤجّل من عبث الحياة. القراءة عندي طقس داخلي، والكتابة صراع مع الذات، مع الافكار، مع العدم.
اكتب لأنني وُلدت في صدعٍ بين المعنى والعدم، وأقرأ لأفهم لِمَ وجدت بين سؤالٍ لا يُجاب وصمتٍ لا يُحتمل.
