عبر صور شعرية جذابة، وصياغات لغوية آسرة، وإيقاع داخلي يحمل ذكريات الراحلين، تشجو "ورود الموسوي" بقصائدها حزناً على الغرباء، والمدن، والوطن، والفقراء القابعين خلف الظلال.
تحت عنوان (فقراء) تقول الشاعرة: "فقراء ترهقنا ابتسامات الوجوه صفر الشفاه نلوك ماضينا ونعصر بالأسى القادم، فقراء يخدش لوننا الجوع تنحلنا الغرابيل نسقط من تلابيب السماء، موتى. جاملين سح الخطايا هاطلين بلا مطر (...)/ أحذية تدوس على جوع الأزقة شبراً فوق جثة هذا الوقت داسو فوق ظهر الفقر واختتموا المآتم".
وهكذا تبدو الشاعرة في مجمل قصائدها المثخنة بالألم والمثقلة بالوجع تبحث عن نقطة ضوء تنير من خلالها دروب الحالمين بغدٍ أفضل، فلا تجد إلاَ الشعر ملاذاً للتعبير...
يقسم الديوان إلى ثلاثة أقسام: جاء تحت العناوين الآتية: 1- (هل أتى) ويضم: جسرناوي، غرباء، فقر غثَ (...)، 2- (جوع) ويضم رائحة الكمَون، قيامة، سبحانك (...)، 3- (مدفنه) ويضم: راحلون، فريق العمر، متاجر العزلة... الخ.
على طاولةٍ تَحسِبُ أسماءَهم... تَعُدٌّ الراحلين... اسماً آخرَ لا تدري كم من الوقت سيبقى... ويلفُّكَ الحنين... يَجرح دمعُكَ ابتسامَهم... ها هم يلبسون الغيابَ بصمت... يغرسونَ أرواحَهم على شرفةِ الذاكرة... بينما الكونُ حولكَ يبكي... ارقُصْ يَرقص الكونُ معك... تتحسَّس سرَّ أوجاعكَ... ما أنتَ إلاّ كائنٌ غريب... يَمسحُ عنه أتربةَ القهرِ والفقرِ والموتِ البطيء... كلُّهم رحلوا... يَا لوقاحة عينَيكَ... كيف تَفتَح مصراعَ حَدَقتكَ على وسعها... وتستنشق كلّ هذا الهواء!.
