كتاب كفرخل تاريخ وحضارة تأليف د. محمد حسين محاسنة، قلما نجد كتاب تاريخي عربي يتناول دراسة كفرخل أو يتحدث عنها، لمن لا يعرفها هي قرية أردنية ضاربة في جذور التاريخ وتاريخها يعود إلى حضارات قديمة، فنحن أمام مدينة كانت دوما همزة وصل ونقطة تلاقي ما بين المناطق الجبلية في شمال المملكة (جبال عجلون) وبين سهول حوران.
لقد كانت تشكل أكبر تجمع سكني إسلامي في منتصف القرن 10ه/16م بعد صخره التي كانت مركز لإمارة بني الأعسر، فلا نتعجب أن نجد في تاريخ هذه المدينة مزيج من الحضارات وماض ثقيل بما يحمل من أحداث.
