والتجربة الإنسانية في هذه الرواية مروعة، رواية لا يمكن إلا أن تكون حقيقية كأن إلهام مزيود شاهدت فيلما أو راقبت امرأة جزائرية طوال الوقت ثم نقلتها بحذافيرها إلينا.

ياسمينة التي أصرت إلهام أن تجعل لها نصيبا من ملل المثقف نحو مجتمعه. وملل المرأة من حياتها الراكدة مع شريكها و في عملها. يفاجئها مرض صامت فجأة فيقلب حياتها رأسا على عقب، مرض أصاب الكثيرات و سحب ألوان الحياة من حياة الكثيرات و انتصرت عليه القليلات ليروين كفاحهن لبعض مصابات المستقبل
رواية اجتماعية، شعبية أقحمت الكاتبة فيها عدة نكت نعيشها في بلادنا كالبيروقراطية و التطفل و قلة الأدب التي نعامل بها بعضنا طوال الوقت (جهاد عطية)..
