تطورت السجون على مرِّ الزمان واختلفت بطرقِ سيطرتها على الفردِ أو المجموعة مع ثباتها على مبدأ التقييد في حريات الفرد من حركةٍ أو فعلٍ، حتى اذا نفدت الوسائل في السيطرة الفيزيائية بدأت مرحلة السيطرة على الأفكار التي يتبناها الفرد أو قد يفكر في تبنيها يوماً ما، ذلك هو سجن الفكر الذي لا يحتاج الى أسوارٍ عالية أو قضبانٍ صلدةٍ لامعة، هناك في سجنٍ يضمُ الملايين من البشر، يعيشون تحت وطئةِ الخوف الذي يسجنهم وأسواط الصبر التي تجلدهم، حيث لا حياة هناك الا للمتمردين الذين يمتطون عقولهم ويُحَكِمون حياتهم في محكمة العقل والمنطق.
هناك حيث عاش وطن بين الأسر والتمرد، سيحكي لنا قصص النضال والتضحيات التي واكبها خلال السبعةِ والثلاثين سنة التي عاشها في ظلِ تلك السجون الدامية حتى اذا داهمهم اليأس جاء الأمل كلوحةٍ متكاملةٍ فريدة.
