لم يكن الهروب ضعفًا كما ظننتُ ، فهو كان لي بمثابة الوصال الذي يربط بين الحياة و الموت فإذا أتي الوقت لتري جميع ما أحببتُهم قتلي ودوي رصاص صداه يتردد في أرجاء المكان لا يفارق أذناك وأدركتُ حينها أن الموت سيتمكن منك إذا أكملت السير فالهرب أفضل فلن يفيد إذا زاد عدد القتلى قتيلاً .
