مأخـوذاً بأصـداء الطفولـة كنت تقطـع الفلــوات المرصّعــــــة بالعا كول والخروب والأعشاب المتيبسة على ضفة "الزر كان"، وآنها لم تكن تعــرف أن زمنـاً سيجيء لا يشبـه ما قبلـه، زمناً تفتقـد الأشيـاء فيــه تناغمهــا، فيغيض " الزر كان" من قبل أن يتناسل مع "الخابور"، وتتقزم من حوله أشجار البطم!
