كتاب فلسفة العلم تأليف فيليب فرانك يعتبر الكتاب نقطة وصل بين دراسات العلوم المختلفة ودراسات الإنسانيات. فقد تناول الكاتب مسحا لتاريخ العلم منذ أرسطو وحتى آينشتاين بهدق توضيح مدى مكانة الفلسفة من العملية العلمية كما يوضح مدى صلة النظريات الفلسفية والفزيائية قبل حداثة العصر التكنولوجيا التى أبعدت كلاهما عن الآخر. يهدف الكتاب إلى محاولة استعادة الفكر القديم فى الفلسفة حيث يحث على أن يهتم رجل العلم في عالم اليوم بأفكار العلوم أكثر من أن يكتفي بمجرد الحقائق.
