كتاب فلسفة الأسطورة تأليف أليكسى لوسيف الكتاب جميل كمدخل لفلسفة الأسطورة، تشعر أنك تسمعه يتحدث ولست تقرأ، ينتقل من المواضيع الصعبة إلى تشبيهات ووصف قريب من النفس! يبدو صعب ويحتاج إلى تركيز وإلى بحث عن الكثير من المصطلحات خاصة للمبتدئين، مثل الجيومتري الهندسة الإقليدية واللاإقليدية، وعن خاتم نيبلونغ أو خاتم النيبولنجن كأسطورة وعن الأخوان غريم، منتجع بوشكين، آلة البالالايكا، التفكير الجدلي.
من اقتباسات الكتاب صـــ59: المادة كما يقولون تتألف من ذرات. ولكن، ما هي الذرة؟ إذا كانت مادية، فهذا يعني أن لها شكلا وحجما معينا، كأن تكون مكعبة أو كروية. ولكن للمكعب أطوال أضلاع محددة وقطر محدد، كما للكرة أبعادها المحددة ونصف قطرها المحدد. والضلع والقطر ونصف القطر أبعاد يمكن تقسيمها، كأن ننصفها مثلا، وبالتالي فإن هذا يعني إمكانية تقسيم الذرة إلى مالا نهاية. أما أن تكون الذرة غير قابلة للانقسام، فهذا يعني أنها لا تملك بنية فراغية، إذن، فلن يكون هناك ما يمنعني من رفض المفهوم القائل بأن مثل هذه الذرة مادية. وهكذا، إما أن لا تكون عناك أية ذرات كبنيات مادية، أو انها تكون قابلة للانقسام إلى ما لا نهاية. ولكن، لكأننا نقول، في الحالة الثانية، بأن الذرة غير موجودة، إذا كيف تكون هذه الذرة إلى تنقسم إلى ما لا نهاية "غير قابلة للانقسام" ؟ إنها، في هذه الحالة، ليست ذرة، بل غبار ما دقيق بما لا يوصف إلى درجة الصفر، يتطاير متناثرا في لا نهائية المادة. هناك لبس، إذن، في حالتي الذريّة المعروضتين، لبس تجعله ممكنا ميثولوجيا العدمية العمياء
