هذه المهزلة دفعتني للكذب كثيرًا هذه الفترة يا صديقي، وهذا يؤذيني نفسيًا. انظر إلى ماذا أوصلني الادعاء والتبرير بأنني لن أضطر إلا لبضع كذبات، انظر إلى ما قادني إليه الاستثناء. ألاحظتَ كيف كنتُ نفعيًا، ألاحظتَ كيف أخطأتُ في قياسي النفعي؟ نعم، لعلنا جميعًا لا نجيد القياس النفعي، ولهذا على الدوام نصطدم بالنتائج الكارثية. نعم، لربما كانط كان مُحق برفضه حالة الاستثناء، وتضييق حدود الفعل الأخلاقي، لعلَّ ذلك العظيم منحنا الحل لمشاكلنا نحن البشر، من دون أنْ ندرك ذلك بعد. متى سنستحق فهمه، لكي نفهمه، متى سنستحق حيازة القدرة على الالتفات للحقيقة والصواب والأنوار في نتاجه؟ لعلَّ ما يجدر بنا فعله الآن، لا شيء سوى العودة إلى كانط.
