هذه تذكرة للدعاة وضعت بعد الاطلاع على قول الحق تبارك وتعالى (ادع الى سبيل ربك بالحكمة والموعظة الحسنة وجادلهم بالتي هي أحسن). كما تعرض لأقوال العلماء في وجوب الدعوة الى الله تعالى, لما فيها من رفع لهمة الجميع للقيام بهذه الفريضة التي أغفلها أكثر الناس, كما ذكر صفات الداعية ومؤهلاته, لأن أخلاق الداعية هي أخلاق القرآن وأخلاق الحبيب المصطفى عليه الصلاة والسلام, حيث يجب أن تكون هذه الصفات طبيعية وسجية, وليست تكلفاً. حيث ينبه الى أننا بحاجة الى دعاة مؤهلين تأهيلاً علمياً عالياً كما وصفهم النبي عليه الصلاة والسلام ( علماء حكماء كادوا من صدقهم أن يكونوا أنبياء). فالكتاب يعرض الوسائل المتاحة للدعوة, مبيناً أهمية كل وسيلة, وأن الداعية كالصيدلي في تركيب الأدوية, وكالطبيب في التشخيص المرضي والمعالجة, وكل ذلك بغاية اللطف والرفق واللين متأسياً بالحبيب المصطفى عليه السلام في كل أعماله وأقواله. وقد تحرى الأسلوب العلمي في عزو الآيات بالسورة رقم الآية, والحديث الشريف في أي كتاب, ونسبة الأقوال الى أصحابها بكل أمانة ودقة.
