يبدأ بعدها فى إيراد بعض مقولات العرب المستشرقين كما سماهم فى كتابه ورأيهم فى أن الدين يقبله العقل فقط ولا يقبله العقل ورد عليهم رد بليغ فى أن الدين يتطلب تصديق والتصديق يوجب التصور وليس التصور من مهام القلب.. فبهذا هم الصقوا صفةً لم تك يوماً من الايام للقلب..
وأن كثيراَ من الملل يتبعها اهلوها قلبا وليس عقلا كغالب الاديان المنتشرة ف آسيا وعبَّاد البقر وبذلك فليس الدين الصحيح هو الذى يقبله القلب فقط وإنما العقل.
