هذه الرواية ليست مجرد حكاية عن جريمةٍ في حيٍّ من أحياء صنعاء،
بل هي مرآة تعكس واقعًا نعيشه جميعًا — واقعًا تتشابك فيه خيوط السلطة والفساد والمصالح،
ويغدو فيه الصادق غريبًا، والمجرم حرًّا ببدلةٍ أنيقة.
حين كتبتُ هذه الرواية، لم أكتبها من وحي الخيال وحده،
بل من قلب الواقع… واقعٍ أعرفه جيدًا،
حيث تُكتب التقارير بالدم، وتُدفن الأسرار في ملفاتٍ لا تُفتح.
كتبت «ظلال فوق صنعاء» وأنا أستحضر وجوه رجالٍ أعرفهم،
وقفوا في وجه الريح ولم ينحنوا،
بحثوا عن الحقيقة حتى داخل الظلال التي تبتلع الضوء.
ليست هذه الحكاية عن بطلٍ خارق،
بل عن ضابط يمنيٍ حمل ولاء وطنه في حنايا قلبه،
يحاول أن يبقى نقيًّا في زمنٍ تُباع فيه القضايا وتُشترى الضمائر.
«ظلال فوق صنعاء» ليست مجرد حكاية جريمة،
بل رحلة في دهاليز العقل والضمير،
وفي المسافة الضيقة بين الواجب والخيانة،
وبين القانون والعدالة حين لا يعودان وجهين لعملةٍ واحدة.
هي شهادة ضابطٍ رأى الحقيقة تتلوّن،
ورجلٍ حاول أن يبقى نقيًّا وسط العتمة،
وبينهما قلبٌ خفق في غير أوانه لامرأةٍ
كانت تبحث عن الضوء في مدينةٍ تبتلع نفسها كل ليلة
