في بلدٍ مزّقتهُ الحربُ، وتنازعتْهُ راياتُ الشعارات والدم، تنبتُ قصةُ حبٍّ في أكثر الأماكن وجعًا... عند بوابة على أطراف مدينةٍ تتنازعها الفصائل والنار.
وفي أوج فوضى ما عُرف بـ«الربيع العربي»، وبين دخان القذائف وصرخات الشوارع، يلتقي سالم — طالب الإعلام الحضرمي وعاشق التصوير — بفتاةٍ صنعانية تُدعى أمل تحمل طفلها الجريح وسط ركام صنعاء القديمة.
وحين تندلع المعارك الأخيرة في المدينة، يجد سالم نفسه بين خيارين: إنقاذها، أو إيصال الحقيقة إلى العالم عبر قلمه.
تتداخل الصورة مع القدر، ويتحوّل المشهد الإنساني إلى شرارة حبٍّ تكبر في قلب الدمار.
