يُعدّ كتاب «طواسين: 25 قصة وقصة» للدكتور صالح غيلوس مجموعةً قصصيةً تجريبية تنتمي إلى ما يسميه الكاتب «القصة العبثية العرفنية»، وهو جنس سردي يسعى إلى المزج بين أدب العبث والدراسات العرفنية (المعرفية)، في محاولة لتأسيس شكل قصصي جديد في الأدب الجزائري والعربي. يضمّ الكتاب خمسةً وعشرين نصًا قصصيًا تتكئ على الرمز، والاستعارة، والتخييل، واللغة الإيحائية، وتستمد كثيرًا من صورها من التراث الصوفي والتاريخي والفلسفي، مع حضور واضح لتيمات العشق، والبحث، والتيه، والسفر الروحي، والاغتراب، والانبعاث. وقد قدّم الكاتب عمله بوصفه لبنة أولى لمشروع «القصة العبثية العرفنية» الهادف إلى تجديد القصة القصيرة العربية وفتح آفاق جديدة للتجريب السردي.
