ثم أوضح بعد ذلك:
- يؤلمني،بكل بساطة، أن أرى كم سرقوا وكم سيسرقون.
بعد شهرين من ذلك، أطلقت أمريكا الشمالية *غزوها.
متحف بغداد الوطني نُهِب. فُقد مئة وسبعون ألف عمل أثري.
