ليلى ليست إنسانة، بل قصيدة منسية تترنح بين السطور، وحرباوي ليس سوى ظلٍ ينمو في العدم، يهمس بوعدٍ قديم: "من يفهم القصة… يُعيد كتابتها بدمه."
في الفصل الأخير، لا ينجو أحد، لا توجد نهاية، فقط كاتبٌ يجلس أمام ورقةٍ بيضاء، يدرك متأخرًا أن القصة كانت تكتبه طوال الوقت.
