هكذا وكأن الحياة قد فرضت علينا دورة من السعادة الزائفة، والكثير من الحزن المقيت؛ فالتجارب تجعلنا أقوى بقدر ما تجلعنا نتألم أيضا؛ كأنها تمنحنا مناعة ضد هذا النوع من المشاعر، لكن إذا لم يتعلم الانسان من كل تجربة فإنه سيسقط في فخ السذاجة الأبدي، أي أنه سيصبح عُرضة للإحتقار والإنكسار في أول موقف، ومن أبسط كلمة تُقال له؛ فقط لأنه لم يتعلم من تجاربه السابقة، ولم يكتسب مناعة ضد ألامه وعُقده.
